About me
I love turning complex, engineering-heavy procedures into clear, usable visuals. My work includes technical assembly and operational animations, product renderings, real-time product demos for large-scale offshore platforms in Unreal Engine, and VR prototypes. I bridge engineering and other disciplines to improve understanding and collaboration, with experience in project ownership, pipeline development, version control, and data-driven workflows.

AkerSolutions - Visualization Engineer
Verdal, Trøndelag, Norway
Sep 2021 – Present
Part of the Verdal visualization team, responsible for delivering technical assembly and operational animation videos directly to engineering. Contributed to establishing and transitioning production workflows to Unreal Engine for real-time rendering.
- Prepared, optimized 3D assets in Blender and Unreal Engine, including modeling, optimization, rigging, animation, and texturing of vehicles, vessels, cranes, O&G jackets and topsides, buildings, and production halls.
- Main responsible for 3D asset and animation delivery for Digital Yard projects in Unreal Engine, supporting frequently changing schedules.
- Established and documented pipelines for transferring assets, rigs, and animations between Blender and Unreal Engine.
- Assisted in setting up Perforce backend infrastructure on both Linux and Windows servers, and helped define version control workflows.
- Wrote technical documentation to help standardize and document visualization workflows across the team.
- Produced post-production content from live-action footage, including color correction, grading, and motion graphics in After Effects.
- Worked remotely for six months with the Visioneering office in Stavanger as project responsible for operational, modification, and maintenance animations using 3ds Max and Chaos Vantage
- Produced V-Ray still renderings for external clients, primarily for marketing purposes
- Worked part-time as a fabrication engineer, preparing topside fabrication models in AutoCAD with dimensions, welding, and steel processing details

AkerSolutions - Summer Internship

- During my summer internship at Aker Solutions, I primarily focused on asset preparation, rigging, and creating animations for a promotional video highlighting the company's new high-tech robotic facility, the Verdal Production Line (VPL). The VPL project is one of the largest development in the company’s history.

- I was part of Nord University's school internship program, which allowed me to spend several months gaining on-site experience at the company. During this period, I learned rigging and animation within Unreal Engine with a primarily focus on researching and prototyping procedural animations. The program resulted in an offer to continue as a summer intern after I finished my studies.

- spent several months as a school intern at Smartmedia, a local company in Steinkjer specializing in marketing, strategy, design, and web development. During my time there, I gained hands-on experience designing and developing websites, exploring how to deliver digital products and content using framework models such as the Core Model ("Kjernemodellen"). Additionally, I was given an independent project to design and prototype an interactive floor plan using Unity.

- BA thesis: "Procedural animation of an industrial robot", combined research and real-world testing conducted during an internship at Aker Solutions. The project developed and proposed a workflow for creating a fully procedural animated robotic arm for virtual industrial environments.

Volunteer Experience
The International Students' Union of Norway (ISU) is a nationwide organization representing international students. Over three years, while I was studying, I managed organizational tasks and general communications, including funding applications. My other responsibilities included organizing local elections, planning events, and representing the local branch at national meetings.
